(July 12, 2023) - Hamed Hosseinpour executed in Maku on July 12
According to information obtained by IHR, the execution of Hamed Hosseinpour, an Azerbaijani Turk, has been carried out at Maku Prison on 12 July. 32-year-old Hosseinpour was sentenced for murder.
A source told IHR: “Hamed Hosseinpour was accused of killing his friend with a knife during a verbal argument in Shoot park five years ago.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
