October 22, 2023 - Khosro Naghiani (Khosrow Naghian) executed in Karaj on October 22.
According to information obtained by IHR, at least one man was executed in Karaj Penitentiary (Central Prison) on 22 October. His identity has been established as Khosro (Khosrow) Naghiani who was sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
Sources told IHR that he was arrested for being in possession of 30 kilograms of heroin.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by media inside Iran.
