Majid Khomami Asl was executed in Noshahr Central Prison on Jan. 2. The news was published by to HRANA and IHRDC. An informed source regarding charges against Khomami had told Iran's Human Rights: " he was charged with an honor killing that happened about eight years ago, but Majid did not commit it." It seems that during this lap of time the family tried to pay a “blood price”, but they did not succeed. According to other sources, the name of the prisoner could have been Khamami or Khumami, and the execution might have been carried out on Jan. 3.
