Mehdi Assadi and Hassan Baradaran hanged at Rajai-Shahr prison on July 3. Iranian website Rokna reported about the executions without mentioning the prisoners’ name. IHR sources have identified them as Mehdi Assadi and Hassan Baradaran. Both men were sentenced to death for murder charges.
