Moharram Nemati and Asgar (Akbar) Bartar were hanged at Urmia prison on July 17. According to IHR sources, two men were hanged on Wednesday, July 17, at Urmia Central Prison. They were sentenced to death for drug-related charges. IHR could identify the prisoners as Moharram Nemati (Moharam Ne’mati) and Asgar (Akbar) Bartar.
