December 16, 2023 - Mohsen Salarzehi executed in Iranshahr on December 16
According to a report received by Hengaw, on Saturday, December 16, the death sentence of a 26-year-old prisoner identified as Mohsen Salarzehi, a Baloch prisoner from Zabol, was carried out in Iranshahr central prison. This prisoner was taken into custody in October 2021 and later sentenced to death under drug-related crimes. Considering this case, the number of executed Baloch prisoners in Iran's prisons has risen to 170 since the beginning of 2023.
