(July 6, 2023) - Mousa Hakimi executed in Qom on July 6
According to information obtained by IHR, a man was executed in Qom Central Prison on 6 July. His identity has been established as Mousa Hakimi, from Mohammad Shahr in Alborz province. He was sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.
A source told IHR: “Mousa Hakimi was arrested around two years ago and was executed this morning.”
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by media inside Iran.
