Nour Eddin (also Nouradin, Noroaldin) Salami was hanged at Zanjan Prison on March 3. The man, a baker of Kurdish ethnicity, was found guilty of murdering a real estate agent after an intense quarrel broke out between them. Salami was sentenced to five years imprisonment before being executed. According to Hengaw organization, the Iranian regime is known for repressing and discriminating against ethnic minorities, in particular the Kurdish people.
