According to Iran HRM, a prisoner, identified as Peyman Sheikhi, was hanged in the prison of Raja’i Shahr on January 27. The man was charged with murder.

According to Iran HRM, a prisoner, identified as Peyman Sheikhi, was hanged in the prison of Raja’i Shahr on January 27. The man was charged with murder.
Egypt’s Court of Cassation issued a final and irrevocable ruling on March 15, 2026 upholding the death sentence for Karim Selim, known as the “Tagamoa killer,” for murdering three women and disposing their bodies in desert areas.
