(May 3, 2023) - Saeed Saleh and Hossein Amirabadi executed in Gohardasht on May 3.
According to Rokna, at least two men were executed in Rajai Shahr (Gohardasht) Prison on 3 May. Their identities have been reported as Saeed Saleh and Hossein Ghoul who were sentenced to qisas for murder.
A source told Iran Human Rights: “Hossein Amirabadi (pictured) was known as Hossein Ghoul. He was a physical trainer prior to his arrest.”
“Saeed Saleh wasn’t scheduled to be executed. A month ago, he tried to escape prison by digging a hole in the wall of Hall 36. That’s why they brought his execution forward.”
