Two men, referred to as Habib and Kaveh, were executed at the Evin Prison in Tehran on April 27. They were sentenced to death after confessing to a string of rapes and armed robberies started in June of 1996.

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on December 23, 2025 granted a full pardon to Sunday Jackson, a farmer who was sentenced to death in 2019 for killing a herder during a confrontation on his farmland.
