LEBANON. MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR SECOND TIME

04 November 2005 :

Lebanese national Hasan Khalil al-Rahim was sentenced to hang by a court in Beirut for the murder of a money broker in Akkar province in August 1997. It was the second time al-Rahim had been sentenced to death following the death sentence issued to him for the murder of a jeweler in Tripoli in March 1997.
