Mohammed bin Ali al-Kahali, a Yemeni, was beheaded in the southern city of Najran in Saudi Arabia after he was convicted of murdering compatriot Saleh bin Ahmed al-Kahali with a cleaver.Malaysia’s Court of Appeal has commuted the death sentence imposed on a former college student convicted of murdering his pregnant girlfriend, replacing it with 40 years’ imprisonment and 12 strokes of the cane.
