According to the report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Sunday, July 16, 2023, the death sentence of a Baloch prisoner named Gholam Sediq Hormozi, 43, a resident of Nimruz city, Sistan and Baluchestan province, was executed in Bandar Abbas Central Prison. Hormozi, who was married and had six children, was arrested in Minab in 2020 on charges of drug-related crimes. As of the time of this reporting, the news of the execution of this prisoner has not been announced in the government media.
