IRAN HANGS TWO FOR RAPE

19 August 2009 :

two men convicted of rape were executed in a prison in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz, the Etemad newspaper reported. The report identified Afghan national Zaeim, who was convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl during a robbery at her home. The second man was identified as Hamed, who was found guilty of raping a 19-year-old woman.
