IRAN: MAN HANGED IN GHAZVIN

19 September 2011 :

One prisoner was hanged in the prison of Ghazvin (west of Tehran) early this morning, reported the Iranian news agency Mehr.
According to the report, the prisoner was identified as Elias Babai Chegini, 39.
He was convicted of selling 10 kilograms and 180 grams of opium and sentenced to 10 years of prison, 74 lashes and execution.
