Lebanon's military prosecutor raised the death penalty charge against six militants affiliated to the terrorist Al-Nusra Front.
The death penalty for the arrested militants was issued in accordance with articles 335 and 72 of the 11/01/1958 law, Al-Alam reported Friday (July 19).
The arrested militants who were referred to the alternate military magistrate were previously arrested on charges of forming an armed organization, performing acts of terrorism, kidnapping people and terrorizing them by force of arms, and possession of unlicensed military weapons and ammunition.
The Al-Nusra Front militants were caught with weapons, ammunition, detonators and explosives, the report added.
