PAKISTAN. CONVICTED KILLER HANGED IN JAIL

02 April 2007 :

Abdul Sattar was hanged at 5.30am in Pakistan's Central Jail for shooting his uncle, Muhammad Ramzan, and a woman, Siddiqan, in Chak 98/9-L on July 27th, 1994.
Additional Sessions Judge Sahiwal Malak Pir Muhammad awarded the death penalty on 15th April, 1999. This was confirmed by the  High Court on December 15th, 2003, and by the Apex Court on 28th July, 2005.
The President of Pakistan ordered the previous execution date of February 13th to be deferred. Sattar appealed to his brothers to not revenge his death.
