SAUDI ARABIA. MAN EXECUTED FOR MURDERING COMPATRIOT
November 22, 2005: Ahmad bin Ojab bin Faisal Al-Muhaidli Al-Otaibi was executed in Riyadh after he was convicted of shooting dead a compatriot following an argument, the interior ministry announced. He was found guilty of killing Saudi national Raed bin Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Bakri "by shooting him with a rifle with one bullet that killed him," the ministry said in a statement. The killing took place "following a dispute between them," it said.Â
