POLAND. HOC AT THE ROUND TABLE ON DEATH PENALTY IN CENTRAL ASIA
September 25, 2007: Antonio Stango, member of the Board of Hands Off Cain, and Yuliya Vassilyeva, coordinator of the initiatives in Central Asia, are in Warsaw from September 25 to 29 to attend the annual OSCE/ODIHR Human Dimension Implementation Meeting.
Official delegations from the 56 member states of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe as well as human right NGOs are expected to take part in the event. Besides taking the floor during the plenary sessions, on September 28 Stango will moderate the round table on âProspects for Human Rights Progress including Abolishing the Death Penalty in Central Asiaâ, with particpants from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
