IRAN: MAN HANGED IN ARDEBIL FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
December 28, 2008: One man has been hanged in the prison of Ardebil (northwestern Iranian province of east-Azarbaijan), reported the Iranian daily newspaper Etelaâat.
The man was convicted of drug trafficking according to the report.
According to the site "Human Rights Activists in Iran", the man was identified as "Alireza Khosrozadegan" and was hanged on December 27 in the prison of Ardebil. (Sources: Iran Human Rights, 29/12/2008)
