IRAN: SEVEN PEOPLE HANGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING, RAPE
December 19, 2012: Seven convicted people were hanged in Iran's Esfahan prison, Kayhan newspaper reported.
The prosecutor of Esfahan province said that six people of those seven were accused of distribution of drugs, kidnapping and illegal entry.
Another man, according to the prosecutor, was accused of illegal entry and rape.
The prosecutor added that all of the hanged men were aged from 25 to 45 years.
