SOMALIA: MILITARY COURT SENTENCES FOUR AL-SHABAAB SUSPECTS
August 24, 2014: the Military Court of Somalia sentenced four Al-Shabaab militants accused to have murdered a traffic police officer in June in Mogadishu’s Yaqshid district.
Military Court spokesman Colonel Abdullahi Mohamed Muse said two of the suspects were sentenced to death and two others to prison terms ranging from six months to life prison, in relation to the murdering of traffic police officer Yusuf Ali.
