IRAN: FOUR MORE HANGINGS
December 1, 2014: Four prisoners have been executed in Iran in the last days.
On November 24, a 38-year-old father of two children, Reza Karimdadzehi son of Eisa, was executed in the Central Prison of Kashan for drug-related charges, reported the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA).
On November 27, according to the FARS, a 20-year-old man was publicly hanged in Joghatai, a town near Mashhad. He was identified as M. Gh., originally sentenced to death for murder and for immoral acts. The prisoner was later pardoned by the family of the murder victim, but he was executed for âimmoral actsâ. Two prisoners were hanged on November 29 in two different Iranian prisons. According to Aftabnews, one man was hanged in the central prison of Qom early in the morning. The prisoner, who was not identified by name, was convicted of a murder. The news website Mizan reported about the execution of another prisoner in the prison of Ardebil.
