IRAN: SIX PRISONERS HANGED
February 26, 2015: At least six prisoners have been hanged in the last days.
On February 24, four prisoners were hanged in the main prison in the city of Arak, the judiciary’s website in the Central Province has announced.
The prisoners were only identified by their 1st name and last name initials as Mohammad M., Ehsan J., Amirhossien Gh, and Reza Z.
The 4 men all had been charged with drug related offences.
On February 25 Iran hanged two prisoners in public in the western city of Kermanshah.
The two men were hanged in two locations in the city at 10:00 in the morning local time. (Source: NCRI, Feb. 25, 2015)
