PAKISTAN: FOUR MORE DEATH ROW PRISONERS EXECUTED
November 3, 2015: Four death row prisoners were hanged in the morning in the jails of Kasur and Gujrat. The dead bodies of the prisoners were handed over to their families, Dunya News reported.
According to details, death row prisoner, Akram, was hanged in the District Jail Kasur. Akram was executed for killing a man named Asif of Sabzazar, Lahore in 1998.
Three death row convicts were executed in the District Jail Gujrat. Death row prisoners Nisar, Ghazanfar and Annar had killed two real brothers over an old enmity in 2000. Since the de facto ban on capital punishment ended on 17 December 2014, at least 291 people, including twenty-six convicted terrorists, have been executed across the country.
