PAKISTAN: FOUR TERRORISTS EXECUTED IN KOHAT
December 29, 2015: Four more militants were hanged to death in Kohat Central Jail early in the morning, the latest hangings since Pakistan lifted a moratorium on death penalty last year following the Peshawar school carnage.
According to reports, Noor Saeed, Murad Khan, Inayat Ullah and Israr ud Din were executed in the Jail in separate cases of murder. One of the convicts was involved in the poor incident of Army Public School and all other three were involved in different attacks on security forces. Zohaib Ashraf, District Police Officer Kohat, confirmed the execution of the four terrorists in the Central Jail Kohat this morning.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif had signed their black warrants earlier this month after a military court gave them death penalty.
They were convicted for slaughtering of innocent people, suicide bombing, training and providing assistance to suicide bombers, kidnapping for ransom and funding terrorists organisations. (Sources: PTI, thenewstribe.com, 29/12/2015)
