IRAN - Yar Mohammad Eshaghzehi executed in Bandar Abbas on September 7
September 7, 2022: Yar Mohammad Eshaghzehi (Ishaq Zahi) executed in Bandar Abbas Prison on September 7.
According to Hal Vash, an Afghan man was executed in Bandar Abbas Prison on September 7. His identity has been reported as Yar Mohammad Eshaghzehi, a 40-year-old father of two.
Eshaghzehi was arrested for drug-related offences in Bandar Abbas in 2020, and sentenced to death by Bandar Abbas Revolutionary court headed by Judge Alireza Ahmadi Manesh.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran and his body remains at the Forensic Medical Organisation’s morgue.
