4 men executed in Karaj on January 23
Saman Nabi- Garusi (Nabi Groosi), Abolfazl Baraghani-Nejad (Abulfazl Barqaninejad), and Sabina Esmailzadeh (Ismailzadeh)
According to HRANA, the news agency of Human Rights Activists, on January 23, 2023, four inmates were executed in the Central Prison of Karaj. HRANA has identified three of them as Saman Nabi- Garusi (Kurdish), 30, Abolfazl Baraghani-Nejad, and Sabina Esmailzadeh (Kurdish), 30. All four inmates were convicted of drug-related crimes.
