IRAN - 3 men executed in Birjand on Septembe 10
September 10, 2023: September 10, 2023 - 3 men executed in Birjand on Septembe 10.
Mohsen and Saeed Sanjarani, and Abdolnaser Ghaljayi. The 3 men all belonged to the Baluch minority.
According to Hal Vash, 23-year-old Saeed Sanjarani and 38-year-old Mohsen Sanjarani were arrested in Birijand around three years ago and sentenced to death in the same drug-related case.
Both Saeed and Mohsen had two children and were from Zahedan.
48-year-old Abdolnaser Ghaljayi, was also from Zahedan, and was arrested for drug-related charges in Birjand around three years ago.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media inside Iran.
