According to information obtained by IHR, a man was executed in Gorgan Central Prison on 14 August. His identity has been established as Elias Rezaei, a 40-year-old driver who was arrested for drug-related offences in Gorgan two years ago. At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
