In recent days there have been reports of nine executions on Oct. 2 in Ghezel-Hesar Prison in Karaj, eight men and one woman. Today, Oct. 8, Hengaw was able to identify the woman: Leila Ghaemi, from Tehran, a mother of a child, accused of killing her husband 8 years ago. The woman had been transferred from Tehran's women's prison named Qarchak (also Varamin) a few days before her execution.
