According to a report received by Hengaw, on the morning of January 25, 2025, Hojjat Panahi, a 38 years old Gilak prisoner, was executed in Lakan Prison, Rasht.
A knowledgeable source stated that this prisoner was arrested three years ago on charges of killing his friend over “honor-related” issues. So far, the execution has not been announced in official state media.
