At dawn on February 12, a man was executed in Malayer Prison, Hamadan Province. HRANA has identified the prisoner as Javad Kakavand. According to information received by HRANA, Mr. Kakavand had been arrested on drug-related charges. As of the time of this report, prison authorities and relevant institutions have not officially confirmed the execution.
