The death sentences of Soud Mirzaei, an Afghan national, and Vahid Ashouri, a prisoner from Yazd, were carried out in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.
According to reports received by Hengaw, the executions took place at dawn on April 9, 2025. Vahid Ashouri, aged 30 and a resident of Yazd, and Soud Mirzaei, from Afghanistan, were hanged inside Shiraz Central Prison (Adelabad).
Sources familiar with the cases confirmed that Ashouri had been imprisoned for four years and Mirzaei for three years before their executions. Both were sentenced to death on murder charges.
As of the time of this report, iranian media have not published any information regarding these executions.
