According to information received by Hengaw, Gholibeigi, 33, a resident of Khadijeh Khatoun village in Qom Province, was executed at early hours of Monday, May 19, 2025. He had been arrested four years earlier for the murder of his cousin (maternal uncle’s son) in what was described as an “honor-related” case. Alireza was physically hanged by his uncle who was the plaintiff in the case.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
