According to information received by Hengaw, the executions of Hossein Karimi, from Khomeinishahr, and Taleb Rikani, from Khuzestan, were carried out in Isfahan Central Prison at dawn on August 20, 2025. Karimi had been sentenced to death six years ago on charges related to drug offenses, while Rikani had been arrested on charges of murder.
These executions have not been published by state media.
