According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, a man was hanged in Yasuj Central Prison on 27 October 2025. His identity has been established as Fereydoun Lotfi, a 51-year-old father of four from Yasuj. He was arrested for allegedly killing another individual with a hunting rifle over farmland dispute.
At the time of writing, his execution has not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
