According to the report received by Hengaw, at dawn on Saturday, December 30, 2023, the death sentence of Abdul Shawali, a 39-year-old Kurdish prisoner from the village of Islamiyeh, in Sirvan County, Ilam Province, was carried out in Ghezel-Hesar prison in Karaj.
According to a source, this prisoner, who was the father of a young girl, was arrested 5 years ago on drug-related charges. So far, the news of Shawali's execution has not been announced in the Iranian state media.
