IRAN: SIX MEN HANGED

six men were hanged in Iran.
Two men were executed in Tehran’s Evin prison, Jam-e-Jam online (belonging to the Iranian state broadcasting) reported.
According to the report one of the men was identified as "Abdolmajid Rigi", convicted of Moharebeh and armed clash with the security forces in 2006.
The other man was identified as Hossein Barikzahi, an Afghan citizen, convicted of murdering his wife and sexual abuse of his daughter.
The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources.
According to the official site of the Iranian judiciary in Kerman (southeastern Iran) four people were hanged in the central prison of this city early this morning.
The men were identified as "Esmaeil J." convicted of keeping 980 grams of heroin and 28 grams of opium, "Hassan N." and "Hassan Gh." for participation in armed smugling of 137 kilograms and 250 grams of opium, and "Hassan K." for keeping 26250 grams of heroin and 55 kilograms of morphine and carrying 39 grams of opium, said the report.
