September 23, 2023 - Unidentified prisoner executed in Minab on September 23. According to IHRS, on Saturday, 23, September 2023, the Mizan website affiliated with the judiciary announced the execution of a prisoner in Minab prison.
The news agency quoted the chief justice of Hormozgan province, Mojtaba Ghahramani, as saying that the prisoner had killed Saeed Moridi, the head of the anti-narcotics police in Rudan.
Ghahramani announced the prisoner’s charges as “armed drug trafficking leading to police murder” and “corruption on earth”, without mentioning his name. Saeed Moridi was killed in a clash in March 2023.
