IRAN. TWO PEOPLE SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR ‘ILLEGAL SEXUAL RELATIONS’
November 6, 2005: a young married woman and her lover were sentenced to death by a Tehran judge for having ‘illegal sexual relations’, the daily ‘Etemad’ reported.
According to the daily, the two had even managed to acquire a false marriage certificate. However, their deeds were foiled by the woman’s husband who pressed charges. (Sources: Ansa, 06/11/2005)
