SAUDI ARABIA. TWO PAKISTANIS, TWO SAUDIS BEHEADED
January 18, 2007: two pakistanis and two saudis have been executed recently in Saudi Arabia.
A ministry statement carried by the official news agency Spa said one pakistani, Ali Anwar Mohammed, was put to death on January 17 in the city of Jeddah for selling hashish and having an unspecified quantity of heroin.
Another pakistani man, Nour Wali Khan Moemen, was also executed in Jeddah on January 17 after he was convicted of smuggling an unspecified quantity of heroin in his abdomen.
Saudi national Ali bin Mohammed bin Heilan Al Harbi was executed the same day in the northern city of Buraida after he was convicted of "luring minors and raping them by force", a ministry statement said.
On January 16, Saudi Arabia executed a Saudi man for shooting and killing a fellow citizen. Abdullah Bin Ahmad Al Zahrani was put to death in the eastern city of Dammam for murdering Sa'ad Al Sa'adi, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.
