L'AQUILA. ELA GANDHI SIGNS MARCO PANNELLA'S ‘MORATORIUM ON CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, EVEN FOR TAREQ AZIZ’ APPEAL
August 25, 2008: Ela Gandhi signed the appeal for Marco Pannella's non violent initiative for the 'Moratorium on capital punishment, even for Tareq Aziz'.
Ela Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's nephew, signed after a meeting today with the Transnational and Transparty Non Violent Radical Party delegation at L'Aquila for the 714/a 'Perdonanza celestiniana.'
The delegation was comprised of Pd Radical Parliamentarians Rita Bernardini, Maria Antonietta Farina Coscioni and Maurizio Turco. Democratic Party Parliamentarian Pierluigi Mantini also took part at the meeting. (Sources: Adnkronos, 25/08/2008)
