IRAN. A MAN AND A WOMAN HANGED
July 29, 2009: one woman and one man were hanged in the prison of Shiraz (southern Iran), reported the Iranian daily Etemad. The woman, identified as Jamileh (25), was convicted of murdering her husband in 2004, while the man, identified as Faraz (age not mentioned) was convicted of murdering a 19 years old man with the name Ghasem, said the report.
