IRAN: AFGHAN HANGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
November 26, 2009: One man has been hanged in Amol in northern Iran, official Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
According to IRNA, Mohammad S. (also known as Fattah) was hanged in the prison of Amol earlier this week. He was convicted of keeping 472 grams of heroin. The report did not mention Mohammad’s age and exact date of the execution. (Sources: Iran Human Rights, 26/11/2009)
