VIETNAM: TWO SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR DRUG SMUGGLING
February 6, 2010: a court in Vietnam’s northern province of Hai Duong sentenced death penalty to two heroin smugglers and imprisonment of separately 17 years and 20 years to two others.
These are respectively Nguyen Van Hien, Vu Dinh Quan, Nguyen Thi Luan and Nguyen Ba Thanh, all from Bac Ninh province, the Phap Luat Vietnam newspaper reported. (Sources: Vietnam News Brief Service, 11/02/2010)
