IRAN: TWO MEN HANGED IN ZAHEDAN
July 4, 2010: Two men were hanged in the prison of Zahedan, capital of the Baluchestan province, south east of Iran.
According to the report by the state run Fars news agency, the men were identified as "Amanollah Pourian" son of Malang, and "Yunes Rahmani" son of Raeis. They were convicted of "Moharebeh" (at war with God) and "corruption on earth" through armed robbery, kidnapping, shooting against the security forces, illegal crossing of the border and drug trafficking, said the report.
