IRAN: THREE HANGED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
August 22, 2010: Iran hanged Akbar Z., 33, and Hamidreza H., 28, and Afghanistan national Shah S., 38, in a prison in Isfahan for drug trafficking, hardline newspaper Kayhan said.
Akbar Z. was convicted of keeping 826 grams of crack and 108 grams of opium; Shah S., an Afghan citizen, was convicted of trafficking and keeping 2 kilos of crack; and Hamidreza H. was convicted of keeping 1450 grams and selling Kilos of crack, and being a drug addict, according to the report.
