PAKISTAN: TWO GET DEATH SENTENCE
January 19, 2012: In Pakistan, the court of District and Sessions Judge Karak Fazle Subhan announced death sentence for six counts to two accused in a murder case of six women.
The court released another accused in the case due of lack of evidence against him.
According to details, Hakim Zada, a Frontier Corps (FC) official, and his nephew Zahir Khan, residents of Speena Banda in Karak were arrested on allegation of killing of six women in Speena Banda on March 30, 2010.
The court awarded death sentence for six counts to two accused including Hakim Zada and his nephew Zahir Khan, while Muhammad Rehman, another accused of the murder, was released for lack of evidence. (Sources: pakobserver.net, 19/01/2012)
